The presbyopia
The presbyopia
Presbyopia generally shows up around 45 years. It is due to the natural ageing of the crystalline lens, which looses part of its power of accommodation : the eye doesn’t do the focusing any more. Near vision becomes increasingly difficult.
> The correction of the presbyopia :
The presbyopia can be corrected with three types of lenses :
Single vision lenses, in near vision, to see clearly at 30 cm,
Mid distance lenses
, to see from near to a little further,
Progressive lenses
, to see as well from far as from near and at mid distance.
Choosing a lens depends on the customer’s needs and on the other visual defects associated to the presbyopia.
Our solution for your visual defect
According to your need, your presbyopia could be corrected with :
Aspherical single vision Nikon lenses,
Soltes mid distance Nikon lenses
, which offer a wide near vision and a comfortable intermediate vision, well adapted to working and computer conditions,
Progressive
Nikon Presio lenses
and
SeeMax Presio
, to see clear at every distance.
