See from near on screen
See from near on screen
While working on computer, presbyopes appreciate the comfort of mid-distance lenses, which better suit than progressive lenses or near vision lenses :
The
progressive lenses
offer a too narrow vision and a too low near vision to be comfortable in front of a computer. The wearer feels as if his correction were not ‘’well in front of my eyes’’.
Near vision lenses don’t enable the wearer to see beyond the screen. Their maximal deapth of field is 30 cm, the vision of their close environment is not accessible to the wearer.
The mid-distance solution
Thanks to larger near and intermediate fields of vision, mid-distance lenses offer a very comfortable vision of the screen, the whole workstation and beyond : the vision is clear up to 2 or 3 meters. These lenses are well adapted to the office universe and are perfect to attend meetings for example.
