Ultra-thin lenses
People with a strong correction can benefit from thinned lenses. These lenses are also aimed at wearers who want to optimize the look and the comfort of their glasses.
Strong corrections
High indexes materials allow people having an important visual defect to get thinner, lighter, more aesthetic and adjustable at any frame lenses. Stronger the correction is, higher the index has to be chosen, in order to optimize the lens-thickness. The lens can be even thinner while combining a high index and an aspherical surface.
Optimizing your look
Thinned lenses are much more aesthetic in frames in which the edge of the lens is visible (drill or rimless frames, frames with “hung” lenses, …). They really take part in the glasses’ design and in the wearer’s look.
The comfort at stake
Thinner lenses are also lighter. Glasses do not weight much on the nose and are much more comfortable everyday. You can forget that you are wearing glasses …
